Privacy Policy

The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) came into force in South Africa in April 2014. The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 200 (PAIA), came into force in 2000.

POPIA/PAIA provide for minimum conditions regarding lawful processing of personal information in a reasonable manner that does infringe on a person’s privacy.

POPIA/PAIA include the right to protection against unlawful processing of personal information, with respect to the collection, storage, distribution, and use of personal information.

The type of personal information that Incomar processes will depend on the purpose for which it is collected and may contain certain personal information which may fall within the ambit of the Acts.

Incomar has all necessary policies, and procedures in place to comply with the law and to secure and protect any personal information. These are available on request.
